I was commissioned by a family to paint two brothers as a surprise 50th birthday present for their Mum. It is always nice to create special pieces like this that will hang on a family’s wall for many years to come. Before photography was invented this was the traditional way to immortalise family members so it is a great honour to follow in the traditions of the famous master portrait painters!
