Marilyn is a popular choice for artists and buyers of art alike. I thought I should paint this Hollywood icon too and chose a Pop Art approach. This painting is 24″ x 24″ and is a mix of media – spray paint, acrylic, gold leafing for her blonde highlights and clear varnish for lip gloss! Really happy with the way this piece has turned out. May do an icon series at some point soon in this style.
