Designing a cow for charity!
I recently ‘herd’ about a charity exhibition taking place in my county, Surrey, called the Surrey Hills Cow Parade… part of the world’s largest public art event.
This high-profile event will lead to dozens of brightly coloured, life-sized cows being displayed throughout the entire county of Surrey from May to August this year.
The organisers have invited artists throughout Surrey to submit designs for cows. The selected cows would then be available for sponsoring companies to fund their production by the chosen artists. In September the cows will be rounded up and auctioned for charity.
What a great opportunity I thought so I drafted a few designs before submitting my final England Rugby inspired cow, James Hask-Bull ! I’m delighted that my design has been shortlisted for sponsorship and I’m hoping that a Company or a group of sponsors will come forward so I can make my design a reality. I think a rugby playing cow will be very popular with all ages in Surrey! Click here to see my James Hask-Bull design on their website. It will be a great project to be involved with!
