I recently found a copy of the 1978 Spiderman Annual on an antique stall at a Fair which instantly took me back to when I was 8 years old… oh how I wanted to be Spiderman! (still do!).  Thought it would make a good basis for a painting so I bought it, mounted some of the pages on a wooden panel and painted directly on to them. Approx 1m x 0.5m acrylic portrait.
