This painting commemorates the TeamGB gold medal from the Rio 2016 Olympic games in the Men’s Team Pursuit. Sir Bradley Wiggins leads the team out to beat the Australians. This painting is 120cm x 100cm in Acrylic. I’ve worked on it on and off for a few months now since the Olympics and just when I was finishing it Wiggo fell under suspicion of exploiting the grey area of TUE’s (Therapeutic Use Exemptions) before major competitions! Here’s hoping he is found to have done no wrong and I don’t have to adapt the painting in anyway!
